Your Business Matters Heres Why

Money Mindset

As you make it through the day-to-day tasks in your business it can sometimes be hard to step back and see the bigger picture. The never ending cycle of blog posts, social media, emails, bookkeeping, etc can take over and you forget why you even started in the first place. It’s easy to forget that your business matters, and not just to you, it matters to a whole host of people. Here’s why.

Provides for your family

Your business is providing for your family. Whether it’s your family’s main source of income or it’s just paying for soccer camp. Don’t downplay this! There are many people who want you to work for free, or for exposure, etc. That doesn’t pay your mortgage. But your work and your business does. It matters!

Your Business Matters Here's Why

Provides a needed service

Your business matters because you’re providing a needed service. Be it coaching, copywriting, a travel agent or a bookkeeper. You are providing a service that people need. Without you, without your business, your clients would not get what they need.

No matter what it is you do, if you have made a business out of it it’s because someone needs what you provide. And that’s so important! Your business matters to your clients.

Creates fulfilling work

You likely started your business so you could do something you love. Maybe you love writing, planning trips, coaching others, or playing with spreadsheets (guilty!).

Your business provides the ability for you to make money doing something you love, something that fulfills you. And with the statistic that 85% of people hate their jobs, the fact that you can do something you love is amazing. It’s one of the many reasons why your business matters.

Grow those around you

One of the awesome things about business is that it impacts those around you. Your kids are watching you make your own way, watching you serve others and be rewarded for it. Your clients are better able to serve their clients, or their families because you make their life easier.

You likely use the services of other business owners in your business, you’re helping them grow and support their families. Serving others through your business makes such a large impact, likely on people you will never even meet.

Keep going, keep pushing and keep growing your business. It matters more than you even know.
